MEET KIARA

The girl the town forgot.

Kiara Walker was Morgan Bennett's childhood best friend. They shared secrets, adventures, and matching purple-and-yellow bracelets with silver heart charms.

In 2005, Kiara disappeared. Morgan grew up with holes in her memories, but Kiara never grew up at all. When they find each other again inside Bellweather's impossible rooms, Kiara is still seven. She remembers Morgan, even when Morgan struggles to remember her.

“You remembered my last name.”

HER STORY

The Gathering House remembered her.

Kiara's return to Morgan's life happens inside the Gathering House, where Bellweather's impossible rooms blur the boundaries between memory and reality.

She disappeared in 2005 when she and Morgan were seven. Outside Bellweather, twenty-one years have passed. Inside, Kiara remains the same little girl Morgan once knew.

Kiara remembers their childhood friendship and pieces of what happened before she vanished. Morgan must confront the gaps in her own memories as the two begin finding their way back to each other.

WHAT TO KNOW

She has a voice in the fight.

Kiara is more than the little girl Morgan lost. She remembers pieces of Bellweather's rooms, the counting game, and details the adults do not fully understand.

She is bright, curious, observant, and deeply loyal. Although she remains physically and mentally seven, she is capable of speaking for herself and contributing to the group's understanding of Bellweather.

Her return is not simply another mystery to solve. It is a chance for two childhood friends to reconnect after twenty-one years apart.
